Rainbow Snippets July 18th

Happy Sunday! This week flew by fast I think. This past weekend I had all the right intentions, but only part of it went into practice. I think I need someone standing over my shoulder ready to swipe the pringles away or at least shut off Steam. LOL

Here’s my snippet for the week: (see below)

This week I jump to the next day where Erik and Asher encounter each other in of all places…high school gym class. A spot they didn’t know they shared, until now.

What is Rainbow Snippets? It’s a group of LGBT+ authors who post six sentences (or more) from a current WIP, published work or even something they’ve read that they want to rave about. Click on the link below the rainbow to be transported to a place of wonder where you will find tasters of everything from sweet romance, to hot and steamy, to fantasy and sci-fi.

I’m changing gears completely and going to a beloved co-authored work and a series of Upstaged. Written by myself and Cheryl Headford (Nephy to some) in 2012! Over the course of two years we wrote 12 books together! It was the most insane, wonderful time of my writing life! We hope you love the result. The first four books are published and up for sale at Extasy Press and on Amazon. Here is book #1. Upstaged: Opening Act

Wannabe singer and band front man Erik Von Nordgren hates snarky brit Asher Berkley with a passion. From the moment he turns up at practice with his twin sister Daisy, who is one of the band the two have hated each other.
Through a series of ‘tit for tat’ incidents they annoy, frustrate and exasperated each other. The die hard goth with purple eyes and the hard core rocker with dreams of the big time have nothing in common and no need to cross paths. Except to wind each other up.
Until the day that Erik throws Asher in the school pool, when everything begins to change. Erik is so far in closet he’s in Narnia and Asher has a dark past and trust issues that stand in the way of any relationship, let alone one with the brash American who hurts him every time they try to get together.
A relationship doomed from the start, or so you’d think.

“Shut it, Paul, Manuel,” Erik warned them. Like he’s straight. He enjoyed that kiss and he knows I know it.

Erik’s nostrils flared. ”Kiss many straight guys, do you?” he snapped at Asher. “Maybe I should put out a warning.”

More laughter surrounded them. Asher ground his teeth. Not that he hid his sexuality, but he didn’t want it drawn to everyone’s attention, especially not here. He was damned if he was going to have his haven spoiled. He glanced at Sensei, but he didn’t seem in any hurry to shut down the conversation. In fact, he seemed amused. “Don’t worry, the straight guys are safe. And there’s no need to put a lock and key on your arse, sweet cheeks. I never fuck losers, they’re just not worth the energy.”

A lover of words and writing since they entered my life as a young child. Now a devout lover of men (especially late teen, college and mature men) to write their stories.
