Rainbow Snippets June 15th

A day late and a dollar short…or two in this case 😦 Sorry but not sorry. My hubby was hommmmeee alllll weekend and we ran errands together and dined out and saw my family. No time for much else…which was sweeet!

Today we are back to the ‘ol grind, but with great memories of Father’s Day. This coming weekend will be eventful as well; but I think I might just have to create Bernard in the Sims and make him more ‘real’. Thoughts?? Only two weeks to go til this middle-aged bellhop warms your hearts.

This week we are back with Bernard’s Diary, and things had taken a drastic turn…ending up en route to the hospital 😦

What is Rainbow Snippets? It’s a group of LGBT+ authors who post six sentences (or more) from a current WIP, published work or even something they’ve read that they want to rave about. Click on the link below the rainbow to be transported to a place of wonder where you will find tasters of everything from sweet romance, to hot and steamy, to fantasy and sci-fi.

Blurb:

Bernard Covington, suicidal and not the most-handsome man in the world would be happy to leave the world behind altogether.  That is until he meets Dr. Jack Larson. The physician takes his wounded heart and soul and patches them back together, but is he Mr. Perfect?

Bernard and Jack develop a romance, but soon the tide begins to shift as Jack’s past is revealed and it becomes a game-changer for the couple to deal with.

Will Bernard and Jack have a happy ending or will he succumb to his desire to end it all or will dealing with Jack’s phantoms keep him going? Only Bernard’s diary knows what secrets lurk in his soul…

Bernard finally came to three hours later.

“What the—where am I?” He glanced down at his wrists and saw the thick gauze wrapped around them and remembered everything. He gritted his teeth and swore under his breath. “Shit! Can’t I even get my own death right? You’d think just once I could get something right. I’m such a fuckin’ loser.” Well, time for the routine, he guessed. He pushed the button for the nurse to come. She arrived four minutes later.

“Well, hi there, sleepyhead. Wondered when you’d wake up,” she was way too chipper but he was too tired to notice much.

Author:

A lover of words and writing since they entered my life as a young child. Now a devout lover of men (especially late teen, college and mature men) to write their stories.
