Less than two weeks til Turkey Day??? Wow…plus my life is calming down a little and I’ll have a lot less time to think about things…I landed a day job that starts in three weeks. So…let’s relish the time we have 🙂
This week, I’m going to start posting from This Time Around (which is a rework of Refugees which is the sequel to For the Heart of Phillip). Drama was everywhere in the first book; but it’s been tamed in this volume, which follows Robert and David’s journey after things didn’t go as planned in book one.
I hope you enjoy! This book is coming December 1st!

To set the stage: (spoiler alert)!!! In the first book, Robert and Phillip break up and David and Andrew break up.
This is David coming home to find out that Andrew has left him:
It was 9 p.m. on a warm, early September night. Thirty-one-year-old David Griffin pulled up into the driveway of his house. Of course, it wasn’t just his now—he’d had his lover, Andrew Bradley-Horner living there for some time too, along with Andrew’s adorable daughter, Andrea.
He’d finally come off his shift as a physical therapist in the rehabilitation hospital after working a grueling twelve hour shift. He was tired, but felt he was in a diplomatic enough mood to deal with his boyfriend. It’d been a rough weekend for them after David had asked Andrew to marry him and the only reply he’d received was Andrew’s vomiting on the lawn.
